Stations of the Cross is a mezzotint serie made of 14 mezzotints - each one is one of the station of the cross - and one mezzotint representing God or altar image.
This serie is trying to make spiritual (religious) theme more interesting for young people and artists (for me and as I see it). My grandfather always want me to make some religious art (for me and as I see it). This is it. This is how I feel about any kind of spirituality, it is hard to catch, hard to see, explain and make an image of it. For me it is some kind of light. In these prints you can see the light as a white circle. The stops are made from google maps (Jerusalem) and map where is explained where Jesus stops. That is where the light is.
"0 (zero)" mezzotint, 1 x 1 m
"I" - "XIV" mezzotints, 12 x 15 cm
