MANUS is my diploma work about hands.
It shows that hands are our best friend and the tool that is with always with us. It shows what is hand capable of, that it thinks and feels itself even when it is perfectly skilled (e.g. mistakes, dirt, etc.) and that sometimes it is very helpful for the final artwork.
The work is also about the relationship between artist and the material. The hand is a tool for making these relationships too. The time is also an important aspect. That is why I choose techniques which are dependant on time and focusing. Then I can make a nice relationship with the material and the final artwork too.
